Parking Lot Painting and Striping in Tampa

Parking Lot Painting and Striping in the Tampa Area

Most often referred to as parking lot striping or traffic pattern marking, clearly marking traffic areas in your commercial lot provides a well-organized traffic flow. Customers and clients in the Tampa area appreciate clearly marked parking spaces and designated handicapped spaces. Many commercial property owners are adding new, numbered parking spaces for "Pick Up At Store Location" for "contactless" product delivery.

Get bright, durable lines for parking spots and clear arrows for entrances, exits and directional flow. We make sure critical areas like fire lane areas are boldly marked. Business owners in the Tampa area are already too busy! Do not burden yourself with DIY painting projects. Leave lane striping to the painting professionals at AIC Painting.

Selecting the Right Parking Lot Striping Paint

There are several types of traffic paints available for parking lot painting including acrylics and solvent-based alkyd resins. Solvent-based paints include durable chlorinated rubber and durable epoxies.

Environmentally friendly, water-based acrylic line striping paints provide excellent durability, reflectivity and brightness. Just because they are water based does not mean they wash away in the rain. For these reasons, water-based acrylics are the paint of choice for most parking lots, as well as roads and highways. AIC Painting offers a full line of premium quality traffic painting options for business owners in the Tampa area.

The Different Types of Traffic Paints Available for Parking Lot Painting

Choosing the right type of traffic paint is crucial for any parking lot painting project in Tampa. At [Your Company Name], we offer a variety of paints to suit different needs and environmental conditions, ensuring durable and visible markings.

Water-Based Acrylics

Water-based acrylic paints are an eco-friendly option that dries quickly and provides excellent durability and color retention. They are ideal for areas with light to moderate traffic and are easy to clean up with water.

Solvent-Based Paints

For parking lots that experience high traffic volumes, solvent-based paints offer enhanced durability and resistance to wear. These paints adhere well to both asphalt and concrete surfaces and are less likely to fade over time.

Thermoplastic Marking Paint

Thermoplastic paint is a premium choice known for its longevity and reflective properties. This paint type is heat-applied and forms a hard, wear-resistant coating that is particularly effective for high-traffic areas and regions with fluctuating temperatures.

Epoxy-Based Paints

Epoxy-based paints are another durable option for parking lot striping. Known for their longevity and resistance to chemicals and abrasion, these paints are suitable for commercial and industrial environments requiring heavy-duty performance.

Why Choose Our Parking Lot Striping Services?

At AIC Painting, we understand the importance of a well-maintained parking lot. Properly applied striping enhances vehicle and pedestrian safety, maximizes space efficiency, and boosts the overall appearance of your property.

How Often Should I Have My Parking Lot Lines Painted?

Aim for annual repainting if you see fading after a year. If the paint lasts longer, monitor the lines between 18-24 months and schedule restriping before they disappear completely.

How Long Does It Take for Parking Lot Striping to Dry?

While the paint might feel dry in 30 minutes, resist the urge to park right away! For proper curing, wait at least an hour before allowing vehicles back on the surface.

Can I Stripe My Own Parking Lot?

Professional parking lot striping requires specialized equipment like line striping machines. These machines come in various configurations, and navigating the right choice for your project can be daunting. Factors like line thickness, desired paint volume, and maneuverability all influence machine selection.

For minor touch-ups, single-line stripers using aerosol cans exist, but these offer limited control and may not deliver professional-grade results.

I don't write many reviews. But I'm compelled when the results are way above average and I'm very happy with the service. To begin the process, I requested a number of quotes before making a decision. The lowest quote had a bunch of terms and conditions, appeared to have no employees and would sub-contract with the most needy person of the day. Basically, the person I pay may not be responsible for the work (or lack of). So if there is an issue, well. good luck. The next in line up was AIC. The owner is a VET (+), they have their own staff of employees (++) and per Pasco County, licensed and insured (+++). Folks, you get what you pay for. In my case, two things happened. 1) My house was painted perfectly in a day and 2) we had an issue as a result of the painting that was corrected at no additional cost. They stand behind their work and provided outstanding service to boot. My personal request: These guys worked very hard and past dark to get the job done. Please find it in your heart to tip them if you have the means.
